COMPANY INFORMATION

Recoil Games is a video game development studio located in Helsinki, Finland.

Recoil was founded on November 6th, 2006 by Samuli Syvähuoko, Jarkko Lempiäinen, Samuli Viikinen, Aki Raula, Mikko Kautto, Hans Zenjuga and Petteri Putkonen. On average, the founders of the company had worked in the games industry for ten years at leading games companies located in Finland and abroad.

The founding vision of the company is to create innovative original IP (intellectual property) action-adventure games for the latest generation of consoles and the PC. A core goal for the company is to push emotional drama and believable narrative forward in games.

The company has grown from the initial seven founders into 30+ people and is actively recruiting new members into its multi-national team.
