AI PROGRAMMER
We are looking for an AI programmer for our ambitious next-gen project Earth No More.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will work in conjunction with designers to design and implement cutting-edge, intuitive artificial intelligence solutions for next-gen gameplay.
In your daily work you will communicate with designers, artists and other engineers to implement AI systems which satisfies production needs and our quality standards.
You will proactively participate in designing and implementing new AI technology required by the game design and post and fix bugs in your areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of game development experience
- Worked on at least one published console/PC title from start to finish
- Understanding of basic AI related constructs (state machines, path finding, perception, etc.)
- Pragmatic implementation approach to game AI features required by the game design
- Ability to develop AI technology with good balance between performance, complexity, usability and stability
- Proficient in C++ and good object-oriented design skills
- Ability to write robust, efficient and maintainable code, which will be developed in collaboration with other AI programmers
- Comfortable in working with an established code framework
- Strong 3D math background
- Good interpersonal skills and capability to work efficiently in a cross-disciplinary team
- Good verbal & written communication skills in English
- Strong desire and drive to develop cutting edge AAA titles
- Ability to work efficiently and with diplomacy under pressure
- Passion for developing and playing video games
Assets:
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Unreal Script, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Experience in developing on next-gen consoles (Xbox 360, PS3) or PC/DX9
- Passion for making AI as realistic as possible
- Experience in game development with Unreal Engine
