LEAD GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER
We are looking for a lead gameplay programmer for our ambitious next-gen project Earth No More.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will lead the gameplay programming team to implement gameplay technology and tools for development of a cutting edge next-gen AAA title.
You will actively participate in the actual implementation of the gameplay technology and tools and co-operate with designers, artists and other programmers to achieve great gameplay experience.
You will maintain a positive work environment and continually review the game and development process to identify areas that need improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial game development experience
- Highly proficient in C++ and object-oriented design
- Shipped a game developed with Unreal Engine
- Comfortable in working with an established code framework
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to communicate actively and fluidly with design and art departments
- Fluent in English
- Strong desire and drive to develop cutting edge AAA titles
- Worked in a lead role from start to finish in a game project
- Good team player and ability to utilize the potential of the programming team
- Ability to write robust, efficient and maintainable code and mentor the gameplay programming team to do the same
- Strong 3D math background
- Ability to work efficiently and with diplomacy under pressure
Assets:
- Experience in developing on next-gen consoles (Xbox 360, PS3)
- Bachelors degree in software engineering
- Passion for developing and playing video games
