SENIOR LEVEL DESIGNER
We are looking for a senior level designer for our ambitious next-gen project Earth No More.
Duties and responsibilities:
As a senior level designer you should be an avid gamer, with game world design and building experience. Your job is to co-operate with the art team on planning environments and creating fun gameplay experiences for a cutting edge console/PC title.
You will create and maintain level design documentation, script gameplay events and encounters, and place and set up game elements.
You will also participate in the design of gameplay features, build level templates in a level editor, and co-plan the creation of audiovisual elements of environments with artists and sound designers.
You will work together with the QA department to ensure high quality of the levels.
Requirements:
- Passion for developing and playing video games
- Strong desire and drive to develop cutting edge AAA titles
- Good interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Good communication skills in English (written & verbal)
- Worked on at least two game titles in a level designer role
- Good knowledge of scripting languages
- Basic understanding of programming
- Good knowledge of most of the famous PC and console games
- Ability to work in a team efficiently and with diplomacy under pressure
Assets:
- Shipped a game developed with Unreal Engine
- Experience in developing on next-gen consoles (Xbox 360 / PS3)
- Programming background
- Autodesk 3ds Max experience
- Interest in architecture
- Drawing skills
